Among enthusiasts, “Norton Inter” is a name that makes hearts beat faster, as it recalls the brand’s countless racing achievements in the 1930s. The first International was a true 350 or 500 client racing machine, which could be delivered with various tuning options. After the war, the model returned in a form more suited to road use, notably with a “Roadholder” telescopic fork and the “Featherbed” designed by the McCandless brothers and considered revolutionary at the time. The International kept the superb single-cylinder overhead camshaft engine that made it successful, in a 350 version on the Model 40 like this particular example.

Acquired in England from a private individual, this motorcycle has had a careful restoration carried out and is today in rare condition. Its beautiful grey colour matches the chrome and metal of the engine perfectly and features the characteristic pear-shape exhausts. Health issues have prevented the current owner from enjoying the work carried out and this bike has barely been ridden since. This gorgeous machine will enhance any collection of classic British motorcycles.
