- Sold new in France, 2nd hand.
- Same owner for 43 years, 8,538 original km
- Vintage preparation
Produced in a run of around 540 units, the 750 America made improvements to its predecessor, the 750 Sport, while retaining the famous four-cylinder twin cam that had made the brand famous and enabled this superb machine to exceed 200 km/h with fairings. The example on display is exceptional: sold new in France on 4 July 1978, as confirmed by its original certificate of conformity, it was registered on 26 of the very same month. Its first owner gave it a 'Magni' preparation, as evidenced by factory parts invoices. With a 69 mm bore piston sleeve kit, a reworked cylinder head with larger inlet valves, a reworked camshaft, and 32 carburettors, the power was increased to around 95 bhp. The swingarm was reinforced, as was the frame. Due to a lack of funds, the beautiful MV was not used in competition and was put up for sale in Moto Journal in 1981. It was then that its current owner, a mechanic and tuner, bought it with just over 4,000 km on the clock. To ensure that the engine had been properly prepared, he dismantled it completely, as shown in the photos. Later, during the 90s, the elements linked to its road use were reassembled. Today, this fabulous machine has 8,538 original km on the clock, and we were able to enjoy the unique sound of its superb mechanics, carefully maintained in full working order. Accompanied by its original exhausts, it is a unique collector's item with a clear history that connoisseurs are sure to appreciate.
