This Ducati was bought by one of the sons of our Brescia collector. Alongside their FN 4-cylinder from the turn of the century, he wanted a more usable bike and hence turned to this 750 GT, which, with its large American-style handlebars, was ideal for touring on country roads.
It was in original condition, however, once purchased, the owner had it completely refurbished by a specialist, in keeping with the original colours. The result is magnificent, worthy of this particularly attractive model. The brainchild of engineer Fabio Taglioni, its new overhead-camshaft V-twin engine was powerful enough to take on the British and, above all, Japanese rivals flooding the European market. The 750 GT featured a disc brake at the front, and the manufacturer had taken particular care in designing the slim, sleek lines.
Accompanied by a folder of invoices and photos, as well as a certificate from the Automotoclub Storico Italiano (ASI) issued in June 2014, this beautiful, high-performance bike is sure to attract fans of the genre.
