- First version with short chassis, one of the rarest and most sought-after
- Original engine and gearbox, original colours
- Very high-quality restoration by a specialist
In stunning condition, this car left the factory on the 21st January 1967 and was delivered to its first owner on the 13th February via the famous importer in Belgium, D’Ieteren group. It was finished in “Irish Green 6606B” colour with black leather seats and “Pepita” fabric, which matches its current presentation. Furthermore, it is fitted with its original engine and gearbox, which is rare for first-series models like this one. Equipped with its “gold” wheels (launch colour for Fuchs wheels) and triple Weber carburettors corresponding to its year, it was delivered new with optional fog lights.
In the hands of its current owner, a major German Porsche collector, it had a three-year restoration carried out in Italy by the famous Carrozzeria Bottini workshop in Milan. Since then, it has only covered around 2,000 km and an assessment report carried out in Germany gives it a mark of 1, which is simply the best score possible.
This car is part of the first version of the 911 S built in only 1,267 examples for the 1967 year., with its 6-cylinder 2-litres engine and its 2,210 mm wheelbase (instead of 2,268 from the 1969 models). It is known as the “purest” of the 911 models and as such, one of the most sought-after too. It is even more desirable when the car being offered (like this one) still has its original specifications, such as the colours and the engine which are all in flawless condition. This 911 S therefore represents a very rare opportunity that will not escape the most experienced specialists.
