Marketed from March 1963 to April 1967, this 2cv AZAM was characterised by its more luxurious equipment: AMI 6 bench seats, strips around the windows, tube bumper stops, wheel covers, second sun visor, Bakelite steering wheel, etc. This example is part of the second generation of AZAM models and was registered on the 13th July 1965; it was also the one of which front doors were opening “in the right direction”.
This 2cv has had a restoration completed in 2022. The chassis and the bodywork were repainted and the flooring was changed. The elegant original “Typhoon grey” colour has been retained. Bodywork seals have been changed; the bonnet and upholstery were redone. The engine has been restored. Known as the rarest, this second-generation AZAM still has all the specific details that make this version interesting and will not fail to attract the attention of enthusiasts.
Please note all vehicles in this collection have barely been used in recent years, they are therefore sold as is, with no technical inspection; They will also need a major service before getting back on the road.
