This Ami 8 break was restored in 2023 by the Andre Trigano museum team. It is one of the first models, recognisable in particular by the sliding front windows. The bodywork was repainted in its original colour, “Swan White” (AC 093), bodywork seals were changed and the red fabric upholstery was replaced. The engine (which does not have a serial number) was rebuilt and included the replacement of liners/pistons, as well as the gearbox which was changed as it was too worn. The fuel tank, the brake system and suspension system were also restored. Rear tyres date from 2015 with less than 30% wear, while the front ones are from 2021 and are almost-new. With this extensive work, the next owner should attract the admiration of passers by, as this model is so iconic in our countryside.
Please note all vehicles in this collection have barely been used in recent years, they are therefore sold as is, with no technical inspection; They will also need a major service before getting back on the road.
