Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradales aren't always well-equipped, but this one is an exception with its electric windows, radio, fire extinguisher, and rear half-bar. Sold new in Switzerland, it was purchased by our Savoyard collector in 2006 from its first owner, via Garage Zenith in Sion. At the time, it had 19,735 km on the odometer. A large file of invoices testifies to regular servicing, first at Garage Zenith and subsequently at Ferrari Gauduel in Lyon. In 2022, having covered 40,397 km, the clutch use was measured at just 10%.
The car has now 40,404 km on the odometer and which is consistent with its condition. It comes in a beautiful 'Rosso Corsa' colour, with the Italian tricolour flag characteristic of the model's launch specification. The upholstery is a combination of red and black Alcantara for the seats and dashboard, giving a distinct racing feel that is further enhanced by the two-tone leather steering wheel.
The car comes with its tool kit and a document case.
Based on the 360 Modena, the Challenge Stradale has an even sportier personality thanks to modifications that draw on the brand's racing experience. With its 400 bhp V8 engine, ideal for track days, the 360 Challenge Stradale is still extremely powerful compared to more recent machines. In good condition and well-equipped, this example is a credit to the model.
