- Extremely rare SC convertible in Mulliner version
- Pristine original condition
- Sold new in Italy
- Beautiful amethyst colour
This Bentley Continental SC in the Mulliner version is absolutely stunning in its deep amethyst colour, combined with beautiful light beige upholstery with blue leather inserts and a varnished burr walnut trim that emphasizes the exceptional finish of this prestigious car. According to some sources, of the 79 SCs produced by the marque, only 6 were built in this Mulliner version between 1999 and 2000, making it a particularly rare car with a continental T engine developing almost 420 bhp.
Purchased new in Italy in October 1999 by its first owner, it was serviced in 2001 by Bentley Milano with almost 20,000 km on the clock. It underwent further restoration by the same dealer in 2003, 2006 and 2014, by which time it had covered some 31,000 km. It was at this time that it came to the attention of our collector, who - completely won over - purchased the car and has used it only sparingly ever since. In 2024, at 37,000 km, he entrusted it to Bentley Lyon for an overhaul and, although a Mercedes enthusiast, he admits to a strong attachment to this Bentley. It has to be said that this extremely rare version, little known to enthusiasts, is distinguished by its system of glass roof panels, which are released in two parts by hydraulic jacks and stored in the rear boot. The dashboard is fitted with an Alpine radio, and the leather upholstery throughout the cabin gives an impression of luxury rarely encountered elsewhere.
This extremely rare car in an exceptional colour comes with a file containing invoices, technical inspection reports, a set of logbooks including the duly stamped maintenance book, and the Continental SC owner's manual in Italian. In its current condition and specification, and with its low mileage, it is a sublime example on account of its elegance, comfort, performance and unrivalled prestige.
