The Lancia Flaminia is known as the most luxurious and modern Italian saloon car of its time, with its amazing light alloy V6 engine and Pinin farina bodywork. The same Italian coachbuilder was entrusted with the production of a 4/5-seater coupe from 1959, outstanding for its quality of execution. This particular example is one of them and corresponds to the first series with its 119 hp V6 engine, of which 3,201 units were made. As stated in its Automobile Club of Italy sheet, it was registered on the 15th April 1960 by a resident of Bologna in Italy. Its current owner acquired it in 2018 after the car was repainted in its sober black livery; it also had an engine rebuild as well as a restoration of its red leather upholstery with matching carpets. In highly sound condition, it will deserve some cosmetic finishing touches on the bodywork in order to perfect its statutory appearance. As it’s barely been used recently, it will need a general overhaul before getting back on the road. This rare and elegant Lancia is an opportunity to drive aboard an unusual automobile, a worthy representative of the Italian Grand Touring of the 1950s.
