For the 1968 vintage, the R4 benefits from a new grille and new bumpers, while a 4-speed gearbox advantageously replaces the previous 3-speed.
This particular example has had a major restoration by the museum team after it had rolled over, some traces of which are still visible on the bodywork. The bodywork was repainted in an elegant wine colour, joints were replaced and the black skai upholstery was restored, as well as the headliner. On board, there is a dashboard specific to this generation, with the transparent brown steering wheel. The engine (type 670-02) is faithful to this model; it was stripped down and rebuilt. Some elements come from more recent versions, such as the front indicators, badges or rear lights. This classic car combines the aesthetic charm of the first versions with welcomed technical improvements. It is a model to collect.
Please note all vehicles in this collection have barely been used in recent years, they are therefore sold as is, with no technical inspection; They will also need a major service before getting back on the road.
