Registered on 4 July 1968, this charming Siata Spring was one of just 3,500 examples produced. Its current owner acquired it in July 2017 from the President of the FIAT Fan Club, the vehicle was registered in Loire Atlantique since 1980, complete and in need of restoration. A complete, high-quality restoration was then undertaken, including the dismantling and refurbishment of each and every component, as shown in a photo file. The bodywork has been completely stripped down, restored and repainted in its original fabulous yellow hue. The running gear and mechanics received the same attention, while the electrical system and upholstery were also refurbished. The pretty Borrani spoked wheels were repainted and fitted with Michelin tyres. This SIATA was appraised on 7 March 2023, complete with its monograms, chrome features, mouldings and specific elements, and the report concluded that it was in excellent overall condition. It will be accompanied by a copy of the spare parts catalogue and various spare parts. With its soft top, folding windscreen and side-screens, the passenger compartment is sheltered (or as close as is possible) from the elements or the outside environment, making it an ideal beach car - whose neo-retro look was a big hit with the stars on the Côte d'Azur at the time, such as Brigitte Bardot who owned one.
