When it was first revealed in 2004, the Ferrari 612 was known as the first 2+2 Grand Touring car of the new millennium, which was quite a milestone then. Its style introduced a new aesthetic design, even more refined than before and the engine had new technological advancements. The splendid 5.7-litre V12 front-mid engine develops 540 hp at an impressive 7,250 rpm. The semi-automatic sequential gearbox has six gears and thanks to its “F1” motorsport technology, it enables the driver to change gears at around 200 milliseconds. The results of this mechanical innovation are showcased by impressive stats: 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, 1,000 m DA in 22 seconds and a top speed of 322 km/h!
This example was delivered new around the 16th borough of Paris on the 21st April 2005, in an elegant “Daytona Black” colour matched to a Magnolia leather interior. Its first owner enjoyed it until July 2012, before selling it during the Artcurial Motorcars auction at Le Mans Classic, the car then had a total mileage of 5,000 km since new. It was on this occasion that its current owner acquired it, first in the name of a company before registering it in his name. It now has a total mileage of 34,500 km and includes a file of invoices since 2013 which evidences its regular servicing at Pozzi.
The last intervention was carried out in March 2024 and included the repair of the roof lining which was peeling off, the repair of buttons which had become sticky over time and the refill of the air conditioning. Its last mechanical service was done in July 2023 at 35,299 km. With its particular colour combination, low mileage and ongoing servicing, this 612 will certainly attract more than one enthusiast.
