This car stands out on account of its superb condition, which can be explained by its low mileage of 17,800 km and by the number of owners: just two, including the current owner who, as a Mercedes collector, purchased it in February 2009 and subsequently kept hold of it for 15 years. Dating back to March 2008, it boasts an enviable array of equipment, including heated and air-conditioned seats. The black paintwork is still beautiful and, inside, it's hard to detect any signs of wear, whether on the seats, steering wheel or trim. Funnily enough, it was owning this black SL that prompted our collector to purchase his two McLaren SLRs in the same colour.

The car was last serviced in October 2018 by the owner's personal mechanic, when it had 16,800 km on the clock and, as it has been driven very little since then, just a routine service is recommended before hitting the road again.
