- Limited series of 2,500 examples
- Equipped with numerous options, including the iconic Roughroads livery
- Successful tribute to Porsche’s victories at the Paris-Dakar
In 1984, Porsche achieved greatness by winning one of the most challenging events in motorsport: the Paris-Dakar. The 953 that won the event was a 911 Carrera 3.2 equipped with 4-wheel drive. Two years later, Porsche did it again with its 959. Almost 40 years after their first victory, Porsche thought of a worthy heir to this legacy by presenting the 992 Dakar. A reinforced 3.0L bi-turbo engine producing 480 hp, chassis height raised by 80 mm, stainless steel skid plates from the front spoiler to the rear diffuser, off-road tyres specifically developed, plastic front bonnet and wings reinforced with carbon fibre…. So many elements that enabled this 911 to perform in all types of conditions.
Numbered 157 out of 2,500, this 992 Dakar has many options including the desirable and iconic Gentiane white / blue metallic paint combined with the Rallye Design Roughroads pack carried out by Porsche Exclusive, an option costing more than €26,000! Other options enhance the whole package, such as the Rallye Sport pack including the half-rollbar at €3,528, the roof rack with integrated LEDs and equipped with a jerrycan as well as sand removal plates for more than €5,000, full bucket seats, the Sport Chrono pack with Porsche Design chronograph (Porsche Exclusive option) at €1,014 and the Burmester audio system at €3,216. It also includes its Porsche Design 911 Dakar chronograph watch numbered 157 (at over €14,000). With 1,600 km on the odometer, this is the opportunity to treat yourself to a very equipped example in almost-new condition! With this off-road 911, you will always be on time thanks to its matching watch and the shortcuts you can take across the fields! Iconic from the moment it was launched, especially with its optional Roughroads livery, the 992 Dakar represents the ultimate 911 and has the ability to shine both on track and off-road.
