Produced for a short year, the 964 Speedster succeeded the 1989 version, with an engine increased to 3.6L and 250 hp. Its production was limited to 930 examples, of which only 175 were equipped with the Tiptronic gearbox. Among them, 65 examples were exported to the USA, including this particular one.

Registered on the 2nd of January 1994, it was ordered in a desirable black colour (L741), combined with black and grey upholstery. As for the options, it has the famous Tiptronic transmission, air conditioning and on-board computer. In 2016, the car was inspected on behalf of Modena Sport, the Ferrari dealership in Toulouse. The report is included in the file and indicates that the bodywork was in very good apparent condition, as well as a repair which was carried out around the front flooring and spare wheel compartment. In August 2017, this beautiful Speedster had a mileage of 46,456 miles and as of today, it displays a mileage of just over 50,000. Aware of its rarity, its current owner purchased it in 2020 from a private individual. Part of a long design history at Porsche, it is worth appreciating the minimalist thinking behind this version, which has also benefited from options resulting in the enhancement of its driving pleasure.
