This car left the Ferrari works in November 1971 and was delivered new in December to the official dealer in Bologna, Carla Allegretti. It was immediately handed over to its first owner, Sig. Maletti, one of the proprietors of the firm ‘Maletti Brothers’, producers of sausages and salami in Modena.

At the end of the 1970s, this elegant coupé was exported to the United States, where in 1980 it was owned by Michael E. Parker, a resident of Irvine, in California. In the late 1990s, the Ferrari returned to Europe, and in 1998 it was the property of M. Chrétien near Versailles, in France. On 16 October 2019, when it still had its French registration number 8480 GN 92, it was certified by Ferrari Classiche, who confirmed its original grey metallic colour with black upholstery and red fabric trim, as well as the presence of its original engine and gearbox. It was later registered in Switzerland and joined the ‘Silver Collection’.

Compared to the Daytona, whose chassis and engine (in a milder state of tune) it shared, the 365 GTC/4 had occasional rear seats and offered greater comfort, with air-conditioning and hydraulic self-levelling suspension. Its 340bhp delivered outstanding performance and only 500 or so cars were sold, making it a rare model. The car we are offering, with its attractive grey metallic paint and patinated original interior, is an interesting example of the breed.
