When it was supplied new on 5 May 1965, through the Belgian importer Novarobel, to the businessman Baron Roger Janssen, this car was black with a green interior and had numerous options, including air-conditioning and four electric windows. After being used for a few years, it was taken back into stock by the importer and sold at the end of the 1980s to Philip Wichard, a major collector of exceptional motorcars. After Wichard died, his collection was sold at auction in April 1995. At the time, the Continental had a recorded mileage from new of 32,000 miles, and the lower part of its body had been repainted in green, at Wichard's request. It was then bought by the enthusiast who would later become its current owner, but he sold it in May 2003 to the Belgian collector Hubert Fabri. Fabri had extensive maintenance and restoration work carried out, including a complete respray in pale green, at a total cost of some 75,000 €, and in December 2021, its current owner, a great enthusiast for the make, bought it back to add to his collection.

Magnificently preserved and in what may be described as exceptional condition, regularly maintained by English Automotive in England and Lukas Hüni in Switzerland, this Bentley Flying Spur looks almost new. This model, with its original 6.2-litre V8 engine developing 275bhp, the most luxurious and exclusive version at the time, had all-aluminium bodywork and technical changes making it faster than the standard saloon. In addition, it is extremely rare, with no more than 20 left-hand-drive versions believed to have been built. This car therefore represents a golden opportunity to acquire a remarkably well preserved example.
