The Silver Spur was built from 1980–1998 and was the epitome of absolute luxury from Rolls-Royce. Exceptionally comfortable, its refined interior has an abundance of wood trim, folding tables in the rear, leather upholstery and thick double-layer lambswool carpets. Powered by the 6.75-litre V8 developing 220 bhp, it can reach 100 kph in 10s, a very respectable time for a luxury saloon. The secret of its comfort naturally lies in its torque and its hydropneumatic suspension, which spares its passengers from feeling any bumps in the road.
The Silver Spur presented here is remarkable in many ways: it is a virtually one-owner car with exceptionally low mileage ...
It was bought new by the current owner’s uncle for his 60th birthday. After a lifetime’s hard work, he wanted to offer himself a present he had always dreamt of: a Rolls-Royce. It was delivered new by Royal Motors in Cannes on 22 December 1995. As a 1996 model year car it had the fuel-injected L410 engine. In 2023, he gave the car to his nephew, who drove it back to Paris (its longest-ever journey) after having it fully serviced in September 2023 by Dezam Automobiles, a workshop recently set up by the former workshop foreman of the Rolls-Royce dealership in Monaco. Worried about damaging it and having no use for the car, he did us the honour of consigning it to us for sale.
It has done only 9,443 km from new! It is in near-new condition and starts, runs and drives like a new car. With Peacock Blue paintwork, a beige leather interior in outstanding condition and new double-layer carpets to match the bodywork, it offers exceptional luxury, with a wealth of precious wood adorning the dashboard. The rear seat looks as though it has never been sat on! It is rare to find a Silver Spur with such low mileage, supplied new in France and with its original books. Drive a practically new Rolls-Royce for the price of a city car!
Please note that contrary to what is written in the paper catalogue, this is a Rolls Royce Silver Spur and not a Spirit.
