- Major restoration
- New bodywork
- Fun vehicle
- No reserve
The Mehari had a special place in the heart of Andre Trigano, who bought a new 4x4 version in 1980. This particular model is a 2-wheel drive version registered new on the 19th August 1974, which coincides with the 1975 model year. It had a major restoration done by the museum team and completed in February 2024. The chassis was repainted and a new bodywork was reassembled on it. The upholstery was redone and the car has its hood hoops, its hood and lateral protections. The engine, type AM2 and mounted on the Dyane 6, was restored and included the replacement of liners and pistons. The tyres and fuel tank are new. The original electrical system has been kept but a circuit breaker has been fitted under the dashboard. This Mehari comes with 4 seats and it will therefore be necessary to amend the registration document which only mentions 2. With this extensive amount of work, this beautiful example is just waiting for a new owner to take it on the road for new adventures.
Please note all vehicles in this collection have barely been used in recent years, they are therefore sold as is, with no technical inspection; They will also need a major service before getting back on the road.
