The register of the 330 GT states that chassis 5787 was manufactured in 1964. It is therefore a desirable series 1 equipped with the 4-speed gearbox with overdrive. In an elegant “Grigio Argento” colour combined with a gorgeous “Nuvola Blue” interior, it was delivered new to the Ferrari agent in Milan, M.G. Crepaldi S.a.s. on the 29th of May 1964 and then sold to Mr Romano in Milan a few days later on the 3rd of June. In October, it went into the hands of another Milanese, then a real estate company before being imported to France in June 1965 and registered on 11th of June in the name of the Lamborghini importer in Paris, Philippe Ernest. Its next owner kept it for 2 years, then took it to VPM in Paris to buy a Lamborghini 400 GT!  The current owner’s father acquired on the 1st of August 1967! Since then, the car was driven on numerous trips (especially for holidays on the French Riviera) and serviced by Pozzi and more generally by specialised mechanics. During his visit to Modena for its servicing, the current owner recalls that the vehicle technicians discovered the car was equipped with a self-locking bridge. Driven regularly until the early 2000s, it then had a mileage of 10,574 km in 2002; after that, it was regularly started until around ten years ago, travelling slightly less than 300 km during that period. Stationary since then, this 330 GT 2+2 is complete except for the keys which cannot be found. It has had a traditional paint job while the leather interior is original and superbly preserved. The dashboard is complete with a Blaupunkt car radio of that era and in the boot, the jack and mallet to remove the beautiful Borrani wheels are included. Still fitted with its original engine, this Ferrari has an attractive patina and deserves an engine rebuild so it can return to Grand Touring roads, to which it has been devoted for almost 60 years.
