Le client qui, en 1949, a acheté cette Plymouth Sedan dans sa finition haut de gamme dite " Special Deluxe " a dû en prendre un soin particulier. Compte tenu de son très bel état, il est très probable qu'il n'ait jamais exploité les 97 cv de son 6 cylindres à soupapes latérales de 217.8 ci. Tout dans cette jolie populaire américaine respire l'origine, à commencer par son compartiment moteur. L'intérieur semble totalement d'origine et si toutefois il avait été refait, c'est avec une attention extrême, car l'ensemble donne l'impression d'avoir toujours été comme cela. Seule la peinture échappe à la règle, ayant trop de lustre pour avoir 67 ans. Une bien jolie machine à remonter le temps, qui plus est dans une couleur chatoyante.

Merci de noter que tous les véhicules sont vendus en l'état, sans batterie ni contrôle technique. N'ayant pas roulé régulièrement ces dernières années, ils devront bénéficier d'une révision générale avant de prendre la route.

The customer who bought this Plymouth sedan in 1949 in the "Special Deluxe" premium finish must have taken very good care of it. Given its beautiful condition, it is very likely that the 97bhp developed by the 6 cylinder side-valve 217.8 cubic inch engine were hardly used. Everything in this pretty popular American car exudes a sense of genuine authenticity, starting with the engine compartment. The interior seems to be totally original and if it had indeed been redone, it must have been with extreme care since the whole car gives the impression of having always been this way. The paint is the only exception, as it has too much luster for a 67 year old car. A beautiful time-machine, and in a shimmering colour.
