Originally intended for a Portuguese buyer who subsequently failed to honour his order, the car was purchased in 2010 by its current and sole owner from Garage Zénith in Sion, Switzerland. It was then cleared through French customs and registered for the first time in 2012. Part of the series of 500 specially produced examples, this one being numbered 306, it features popular specifications such as its multi-layered Bianco Madreperla exterior paintwork, sports logos, leather upholstery with white stitching, a '500 Limited Edition' badge and a navigation system. It also comes with a set of windscreen protectors that fit behind the headrests.
This Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione Spider has scarcely been driven, but this has not prevented it from undergoing regular maintenance, as confirmed by the invoices attached to the file and the stamps in the service book. The odometer currently shows just 8,899 original km, which means it's close to new. The pearlescent white paintwork is impeccable and, inside, the black leather with white stitching shows only very discreet signs of use; combined with the carbon trim and brushed aluminium dashboard, the finish is extremely elegant. This car is sold with its user manual and maintenance booklet, its cover and a battery charger.

This lot is sold VAT excluded. The VAT can be refund to any European registered company in car business which acquired it at auction, providing it holds a VAT European registration number and it can prove the lot has been transported to his
country of residence. The VAT will be reimbursed to
any buyer residing outside the EU, providing he can give evidence of this
exportation, such as export papers duly signed and cleared by the French
customs or from any other country member of
the EU.
