Ordered new in 2008 by our enthusiast, this car entered the collection as soon as it left the factory and benefits from a number of options: performance pack, exterior carbon pack, retractable panoramic roof, ‘unbridling’ of the top speed up to 300 km/h, AMG door sill panels and engine underbody protection. It is also particularly spectacular in its ‘triple black’ colour combination. With a modest mileage of 23,237 km, it has remained in splendid condition, with flawless paintwork. The interior is magnificent, and the memory seats are ventilated and heated, with the headrests themselves fitted with small fans. The finish is worthy of the brand's standards, and carbon inserts add a touch of sportiness. The same carbon is used on the exterior of certain aerodynamic elements, such as the small spoiler and the rear diffuser.
The SL 63 has the first engine entirely designed by AMG, a naturally-aspirated 6.2-litre V8 developing 525 bhp and very high torque. It is signed by the mechanic who assembled it, Dirk Peters, a sign of the care taken in its manufacture. Accompanied by a file of invoices, serviced at Mercedes and by our collector's personal mechanic, this family car was initially not intended for sale. It therefore represents a rare opportunity to acquire this exceptional model from the first French owner, with low mileage and in impeccable condition.
