- French provenance
- Same owner for 20 years
- Less than 12,400 km on the odometer
- Superb state of preservation
Launched in 1988, the BMW Z1 is already an exceptional model in its own right, thanks to its rarity, its highly innovative construction method based on composite materials, and its retractable doors. Only 8,000 were produced, and it paved the way for the Z-series sports cars.
According to its Histovec report, this BMW Z1 was registered for the 1st time in France on 7 March 1990, before changing hands in 2000. It was 4 years later that its current owner bought it from a professional dealer, although the car still only had 2,129 km on the odometer! This superb example comes in "Toprot" livery with grey "camouflage" upholstery and matching mats, with a red overlay to match the bodywork. Used sparingly but regularly by its current owner over a period of 20 years, the car has benefited from regular maintenance and now has just under 12,400 km on the odometer. A detail specific to the French versions, this Z1 originally had yellow headlights, which were replaced within the network by white versions, reputed to be more efficient. Accompanied by a promotional brochure and duplicate keys, this superbly preserved example deserves to find a new owner who will look after it just as carefully.
