A Louis XVI giltwood mirror 

CONDITION REPORT :

Good overall condition despite the inevitable losses and marks in accordance with age and use. The mirror has been regilt. Traces of previously restored accidents to the far upper area of the mirror’s pediment and to the the scrolling foliages decorating the two sides of the mirror pediment. Few losses to the gilding revealing the gesso underneath. The mirror plate is late.
