CONDITION REPORT :
Good overall condition despite the inevitable losses and marks in accordance with age and use. Scratches and marks to the marbel top in places. Accidents to the marble top which would benefit from restoration. Wears to the gilding which is tarnished in exposed areas, as expected. Bronze mounts are associated, as stated in the catalogue description. The veneer is slightly sun-faded. Some losses to the veneer in places (to the commode's front - on the upper drawer), as visible on the photographs. Few vertical splits to the veneer on both sides of the commode. Some traces of shrinkage cracks and uplifting to the veneer in places. White stains to the veneer's varnish. Not fitted with key.
