CONDITION REPORT :
- The catalogue illustration is accurate.
- Gilt-bronze mounts are slightly worn and tarnished in exposed areas, as expected, in accordance with age and use.
- Traces of accidents and previous restoration on the removable cover of one of the two vases.
- Traces of previous accidents to the marble on the body of both vases (to the neck across the whole circumeference of the vase for one, to the lower part of the body above the piedouche for the other vase).
