A pair of George IV gilt-brass mounted and rosewood bookshelves

CONDITION REPORT :

Good overall condition despite the inevitable wears and marks in accordance with age and use. Some shrinkage cracks to the veneer on both bookshelves. Some restored splits on both sides of the two bookshelves. Few very small losses to the veneer to the left hand side moulding relying the upper to the lower area of one of the two bookshelves. Accidents to the moulded frieze decorating the left hand side area of the same bookshelf. One small section of the moulding decorating the front left hand side corner of the same bookshelf detached and would need to be refixed. Fitted with keys.
