CONDITION REPORT :

Fair overall condition. Wears and losses to the gilding revealing the gesso underneath. Traces of previously restored accidents and breaks to the eagle’s head, body and wings. The scrolling foliage ornaments decorating both sides of the mirror’s pediment have been strengthened by means of rear patches, not visually distressing and visible only when observing the mirror from the rear.
