CONDITION REPORT :

Good overall condition despite the inevitable shocks and marks in accordance with age and use. The catalogue illustration is accurate. Firm and sound construction. Scratches, marks and chips to the rim of the marble top. The marble top is associated, as stated in the catalogue. Wears to the gilding in places. Gilt-bronze mounts are associated (traces indicating the presence of previous mounts, now missing). Traces of discreet restorations to the veneer of the fall front (previously restored cracks). Some marks and traces of gouging to the two lower front doors and to the two sides of the secretaire.
