A pair of Italian gilt-wood girandoles, mid-18th century

CONDITION REPORT :

Good overall condition despite the inevitable losses and marks in accordance with age and use. Some losses to the gilding revealing the gesso underneath. Some small losses to the carving in places, such as to the tip of the scrolling foliage decorating the lower left-hand side area of one of the two girandoles. Traces of previously restored accidents on both. Charming model.
