Launched in 1982, the Porsche 3.0 SC is the first 911 convertible in the manufacturer’s history. The 3.2 version was introduced the following year, hence why the production of the 3.0 cabriolet was limited to just 4,096 examples.
This particular model was delivered new in France on the 24th February 1984 by Inter Sport Auto, as evidenced by its service logbook. It was then registered on the 3rd May of the same year in Paris and had its first service 9 days later at Sonauto when the mileage was at 785 km. In “Grand Prix White” colour with black leather interior, this convertible was ordered with optional air conditioning. Used by 3 careful owners over the years, it was discovered by its current one in 2020, who was impressed by its impressive original condition. The car had a genuine mileage of 57,103 km when we inspected it, corroborated by stamps in the service logbook; the last service was carried out in August 2024 at MJ Technic, well known for their expertise with Porsche cars. An inspection done at the same time revealed that the bodywork was in excellent condition, with no trace of corrosion or accidents as well as a very good paintwork quality. It is indeed extremely rare to find an example with such a clear history, in such a well-preserved condition and still accompanied by its jack, tool kit and compressor. Ready to hit the road thanks to its knowledgeable owner, this true collector’s item is sure to meet the expectations of the most discerning collectors.
