After its launch in 1928, the C4 continued to evolve. After the AC4 F of 1930, it was the turn of the C4 G to be unveiled at the Paris Salon of 1931. The improvements began with mechanicals, an increased engine cylinder capacity, developing 32bhp. The C4 was equipped with a 3-speed gearbox and an all-steel body.

The car on offer features a coach body style, which was actually called a "faux cabriolet 4-seater" as opposed to "faux cabriolet two-seater" which had no quarter windows. This car was part of the Citroën collection of André Trigano, sold during Retromobile 2016, and is sold today by Artcurial SAS. It has been fully restored on a sound basis. Its title and the constructor plate show a saloon serial number. The chrome parts are in very good condition and the car seems not having driven much since its restoration. The interior has been redone in grey cloth and the dashboard features a series of instruments on a black sheet fixed behind the red bodywork metal sheet. The whole is in good condition. In 2016, the spring blades were replaced. It hasn't been driven for a few years, it will need to be restarted and overhauled. With its unusual bodywork, this C4 coach stands out with its elegance compared to less exclusive sedans and limousines.

Please note that the car is sold without the French technical inspection.
