This Porsche 993 is exceptional! First and foremost, this example was sold new in Paris by the Sonauto dealership on the 14th October 1997. It was originally in “Adventure Metallic Green” with black leather interior and was ordered with many options: limited slip differential with 40% lock, traction control, 17’ rims, rear window wiper, air conditioning, sunroof, on-board computer and pleated leather upholstery. The car was then sold in Gironde in 2005, when it had a mileage of 45,490 km and was kept by its owner until 2016.
It was during this period that the car was entrusted to the famous Porsche Almeras garage, renowned for its preparations and brilliant results, in rallying as well as in endurance, with the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It therefore received a polyester body kit evoking the fabulous Porsche GT1/96, racing versions which took 2nd and 3rd place in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1996. This kit is fitted on the entire rear part, side skirts, front wings as well as the bumper which gave the car a racing look, reinforced by the presence of true 18’ BBS magnesium rims.
Pictures of the car being modified appear in a 2018 inspection report which comes with the car. It was first painted yellow before getting its current and very fitting dark grey colour, enhanced with red touches. The car had another owner in 2016 before being purchased by the current one. A file of servicing invoices in the Porsche network and old roadworthiness inspection reports corroborate its current mileage of 84,043 km. The car also has its logbooks, including the stamped service logbook. Unique in this configuration, this spectacular original French 993 model displays a limited and justified mileage and should not leave connoisseurs indifferent.
