The E38 series represents the 3rd generation of the 7 series at BMW. It was known as the top of the range at the manufacturer, with technical innovation and an exceptional wealth of equipment. Andre Trigano acquired this new example in the long chassis version, with the 3.5L V8 engine linked to an automatic gearbox on the 23rd October 1996, in order to use it for one of his businesses. The car will then be transferred to his personal name before being sold in 2010 to a resident in his region; however, regrets will push him to buy it back in 2015! In a superb “Orient Blue” colour with a cream leather interior, it has all the technological advancements of that era: on-board computer, telephone, 6-CD changer, etc. The bodywork was repainted, while the upholstery is in a very good original condition.
It has a total mileage of 174,115 km, evidenced by the service logbook and old technical checks. It has its original logbooks, tool kit and jack. Tyres date from 2015 and show less than 15% wear. As a lovely invitation to travel, this superb example has clearly been used with care; it will appeal to all enthusiasts of quality cars.
Please note all vehicles in this collection have barely been used in recent years, they are therefore sold as is, with no technical inspection; They will also need a major service before getting back on the road.
