With just 700 km from new, this rare Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm is practically brand new. The Milanese Alfa Romeo enthusiast who placed the order had missed out on the Alfa Romeo 8C back in the day and didn't want to miss out again. It was delivered to him on the 27th of June 2022 direct from Alfa Romeo Arese, as shown in a photo taken on the day he took ownership.
As well as being in impeccable condition, it comes with a host of desirable extras: two special helmets, race suit and shoes in the model's colours, a 'Goodwool' tarpaulin, and a transparent protective film skilfully applied by specialist DWS Wrapping. This is the 249th GTAm of the 350 produced, which makes it extremely rare. In July 2023, with 341 km on the clock, it underwent an overhaul and is accompanied by a certificate of conformity that describes all technical features in detail.
Living up to its glorious GTAm name, it boasts an extraordinary range of features: a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 engine, 540 bhp, 300 km/h, 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, lightweight bodywork, and a racing interior. It is the most powerful production Alfa Romeo ever, and won the 2021 “Autobild Sportscar of the Year” award. This lot is sold VAT excluded. The VAT can be refund to any European registered company in car business which acquired it at auction, providing it holds a VAT European registration number and it can prove the lot has been transported to his country of residence. The VAT will be reimbursed to any buyer residing outside the EU, providing he can give evidence of this exportation, such as export papers duly signed and cleared by the French customs or from any other country member of the EU.
