Glass shoulder button with the inscription “Clos de Griffier - Vieux Cognac 1788”. Capsule which indicates “Café Anglais”.
Level 4 cm. Very damaged, torn and unreadable label. Soiled capsule. According to David Rigdway, this spirit is still surprisingly young. According to him the brandies of that time were certainly more linear, more lively, dryer, this could explain what enabled this beautiful and long ageing. Bottling dates back to the 1830's.
