Artcurial Motorcars is delighted to announce its grand return to the Rétromobile show, where three days of auctions will take place on February 7th, 8th, and 9th, 2025. This partnership, part of the 49th edition of this global event dedicated to classic cars, promises to captivate enthusiasts and collectors from around the world.

1966 Ferrari 275 GTB

Visitors will have the chance to admire an exceptional collection of five Ferraris, brought together by passionate connoisseur of the iconic Maranello brand. Each of these treasures, certified by Ferrari Classiche, have been carefully selected for their remarkable original condition or flawless restoration:
This rare collection embodies the timeless elegance of three generations of Ferraris, each enhanced by a signature silver-gray finish.
Additionally, from the André Cadiou Estate—belonging to the Sarthe-born gentleman driver—several automotive treasures will be auctioned, including:
• A 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB Long Nose, one of only 93 examples produced with an aluminium body, featuring impeccable provenance and renowned for its six participations in the Tour Auto and Targa Florio Revival.
• A Porsche 2.7 RS Touring, original «Blood Orange» livery.
• A Ferrari 365 GT4 BB, freshly restored.
• The penultimate example of the 100 Alpine V6 Turbo Mille Milles ever produced.
Among the standout pieces of this sale, the 1916 Simplex Crane Model 5 is sure to captivate enthusiasts. This iconic model, powered by a 9.25-liter 6-cylinder engine, could reach an impressive speed of 130 km/h. Restored in England in the 1990s, it recently underwent €40,000 worth of work to ensure flawless operation and optimal performance, combining reliability with driving pleasure. A masterpiece of engineering that embodies the elegance and performance of the early 20th century.
A 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL «Gullwing», originally delivered new to South Carolina and owned by its current French owner for nearly 15 years. After its acquisition, the car was entrusted to Mercedes-Benz Classic in Stains for a comprehensive overhaul. Now finished in black with beautifully patinated red leather upholstery, this 300SL is regularly driven and performs exceptionally well. It retains its original engine and comes with two custom black suitcases designed to fit perfectly on the rear shelf.

This second day of the auction will be dedicated to the Paul-Émile B. Collection and motorcycles.
The Paul-Émile B. Collection reflects an authentic and tireless passion for automobiles in all their forms. It features an impressive and diverse array of vehicles, from legendary competition cars to more unique and unexpected models. Each piece tells the story of a heartfelt choice or a unique adventure, whether it’s a Gordini 8-cylinder once owned by Françoise Sagan or a Ford GT40 famously seen in the cult film A Man and a Woman.
A fervent enthusiast of rallies and historic races, Paul-Émile B. travelled the world in these vehicles, making their mark in prestigious events such as the Peking to Paris Rally or the Monaco Historic Grand Prix. By collaborating with skilled artisans like Michel Magnin, he ensured these cars were both preserved and made reliable, all while maintaining their authenticity.
On the same day motorcycle lovers will be treated to an extraordinary chance to own items from the esteemed collection of Umberto Panini, a legendary industrialist and passionate motorcycle collector.

The grand finale of Rétromobile will unfold on Sunday, February 9th, with the Racing, Flying & Yachting sale. This exceptional session will showcase a rich and eclectic mix of treasures, including rare Formula 1 memorabilia, artistic drawings, vintage posters, sculptures, and automotive spare parts. An exceptional collection of around fifty 1/12 scale models will also be on display, illustrating the history of Scuderia Ferrari from the 1950s to the 2000s.
