A Napoleon III style gilt-bronze mounted, ebony and gilt-brass inlaid center table, together with a Napoleon III ebonised chair

CONDITION REPORT :

For the desk : fair overall condition. The construction is wobbly. Losses to some of the brass inlays decorating the top and the sides of the table. Wears to the varnish. Scratches and few cracks to the table's top. Some traces of uplifting on some of the gilt brass inlays decorating the table's top and the table's belt. Wears to the gilding which is tarnished in exposed areas, as expected. The flame decorating the top of the antique urn is detached and would need to be fixed.

For the chair : good overall condition despite the inevitable shocks and marks in accordance with age and use. The construction is wobbly. No obvious accidents. Some normal tiny shocks and losses to the exposed areas of the feet and of the seat back, in accordance with use.
