CONDITION REPORT : 

Poor overall condition.

For the travelling writing set : Stains, scratches and wears to the leather throughout. The fall front is broken and would need to be restored. Wears to the gilding which is tarnished. The inkwells are later. Fitted with key.

Fot the leather casket signed ‘A LA MARQUISE DE SEVIGNE PARIS’ : Stains, scratches and wears to the leather throughout. Tears to the leather veneered onto the wooden structure. The key is missing.

For the other leather casket: Stains, scratches, and wears to the leather throughout. The cover is detached from the body and needs to be reattached. Fitted with key.
