A Louis XV style gilt-bronze mounted and green horn cartel, the dial signed 'Gille L'ainé / AParis'

CONDITION REPORT :

Good overall condition despite the inevitable wears and marks in accordance with age and use. One minor crack to the dial's enamel. Bronzes have been regilt. Wears to the gilding which is tarnished and worn in places. Some splits and extensive restorations to the horn and to the rear door which is associated. The pendulum and key are missing. Please note that we do not guarantee the working order of the movement.
