CONDITION REPORT :
Good overall condition despite the inevitable shocks and marks in accordance with age and use. Scratches and marks to the marble top. Scattered chips along the rim of the marble top and one tiny accident and loss to the rear left hand side area of the marble top. Traces of discreet previous restorations to the right hand side area of the marble top. Wears to the gilding which is slightly tarnished and rubbed in exposed areas, as expected. Two vertical splits to the right hand side of the secretaire. Shrinkage cracks and few vertical splits to the left hand side area. Shrinkage cracks and some splits to the secretaire's front (to the fall front panel and to the two lower doors), some of which already previously restored). Some white stains to the veneer's varnish in places. Traces of previous restorations to the veneer on both sides of the secretaire. Fitted with three keys.
