CONDITION REPORT :
Good overall condition despite the inevitable losses and marks in accordance with age and use. Wears to the gilding which is tarnished in exposed areas, as expected. Bronze mounts are possibly associated. Scratches and marks to the leather top. The veneer is sun-faded. Shrinkage cracks and traces of restorations to the veneer. One loss to the veneer (lower area of the central drawer). Some traces of uplifting to the veneer in places. One of the bronze-mounts decorating the gallery surrounding the table top is loosed and detached from the gallery itself ; it would benefit from strengthening.
