Commentaire :
Vera Klute is a multi-disciplinary artist. She was born in Germany but has been based in Dublin since 2001. She has exhibited widely in Ireland and abroad and her work is part of both private and public collections, most notably the Portrait Collection of the National
Gallery of Ireland as well as the National Self-portrait Collection. In 2017 she had her first major survey show at the RHA. She has won numerous awards such as the Hennessy Portrait Prize at the National Gallery, the Hennessy Craig Scholarship and
the K+M Evans Award at the RHA Annual
Exhibition. She has been awarded several
Arts Council Bursary Awards and was elected
Associate Member of the RHA in 2018.
