This bottle was produced at to the beginning of the XIXth century. It was discovered in 2010 on a shipwreck at a depth of 48 meters in the Baltic Sea amongst other bottles of Champagne and artefacts.This bottle was opened, tasted and re corked with a neutral cork in november 2010.
Classified as belonging to group 2.
Richard Juhlin’s tasting notes taken during reconditioning in 2010 : 80 /100 points.
Cork reaction on opening, aroma and taste: Popped when opening the bottle. Resembles Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, a bit more cheese.
Korkens reaktion vid öppnandet, arom och smak : Ploppade när flaskan öppnades. Liknar Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, lite mer ost.
Réaction du bouchon à l’ouverture, arômes et goût : Le bouchon a sauté à l’ouverture de la bouteille. Ressemble au Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, mais plus lacté.
