This bottle dates back to the beginning of the XIXth century. It was discovered in 2010 on a shipwreck at a depth of 48 meters in the Baltic Sea amongst other bottles of Champagne and artefacts. Juglar is a Champagne house that doesn’t exist anymore, the brand disappeared in 1829 when its vineyard was purchased and absorbed into the Jacquesson Champagne house.

Cork reaction on opening, and taste : Roasted, crème brulée, tiramisu. Like an old champagne. An after-taste reminding of coconut.
Korkens reaktion vid öppnandet, arom och smak : Mera rostad och brulé, tiramisu. Som en gammal champagne. Eftersmak av kokos.
Réaction du bouchon à l’ouverture, arômes et goût : Rôti, crème brulée, tiramisu. Comme un vieux champagne. Un arrière-goût de noix de coco.
