On 17th and 18th December, Artcurial’s Furniture & Works of Art department auctioned more than 400 pieces from prestigious historical collections. 86% of the lots sold for a total of €4,399,487, the department's highest result since its creation.

On 11th February 2025, Artcurial will auction a collection of works reflecting a lesser-known aspect of Gérard Lévy’s personality, showcasing his visionary passion for Symbolism and Art Nouveau at a time when these movements were largely forgotten. This remarkable panorama highlights major figures such as Maxence, Khnopff, Schwabe, and Mucha, alongside rarer compositions by Numa Gillet, Marcius-Simons, and Georges Lorin.

On December 19th 2024, Artcurial’s Watches department will invite collectors and watch enthusiasts on a ‘Voyage à travers le Temps’, presenting an auction of over forty vintage watches from a private European collection.

To celebrate the centenary of the Jardin Majorelle, Artcurial will present two major rediscoveries by Jacques Majorelle at its upcoming sale, A Moroccan Winter, on 30th December 2024 at La Mamounia in Marrakech: the only modello known to date for the artwork L'Aouache à Télouet and Bijoux Berbères, a masterpiece from the sumptuous 'Nus Noirs' series.

The Furniture & Works of Art sales on 17th and 18th December 2024 will represent all the excellence of 18th-century decorative arts, embodying a quintessential vision of French Elegance. Among the highlights: an exceptional pair of silver oil cruet frames from the royal Penthièvre-Orléans service by master goldsmith Edme-Pierre Balzac.

On December 16th 2024, Artcurial will hold an exceptional auction dedicated to the personal writings and memorabilia of General de Gaulle, from the estate of Admiral Philippe de Gaulle.
Over 370 lots, including private documents and personal objects, will be presented in this historic sale. Part of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Fondation Anne de Gaulle.
