Discovered in Sweden in a poor abandoned condition, this Alfa Romeo 1900 Super was restored by a great enthusiast who spared no time or money to restore it to its original glory. He was assisted by many specialists and this work lasted seven years, with a full strip down of the bodywork carefully taken off and repaired before having a beautiful white paint. The engine was completely rebuilt and the owner took the opportunity to make it more reliable and easy to use, by fitting for example an electronic ignition, a Bendix fuel pump, sodium-cooled valves, Weber 28/36 carburettors, a 2000 Sprint camshaft, valve supports adapted to unleaded gasoline, a 1900 Super Sprint manifold and exhaust pipe and adjustable shock absorbers. A Nardi floor gear lever was also fitted and the fabric interior was fully redone.

As one of the 157 Alfa 1900 Super examples produced for the year of 1958, it was ordered new by AB Snickerifabriken in Froseke for one of its directors. Delivered by the Stockholm distributor, it was used for about ten years before being withdrawn from the road and left abandoned, due to various failed restoration attempts. Since its restoration, the owner has driven several thousand km at the wheel of his Alfa 1900, which is a great proof of the quality of work carried out. Rare in Super version, iconic as the first sports saloon cars and restored with great care, this car will not fail to seduce enthusiasts of unusual automobiles.
