At BMW, the R7 is a legendary motorcycle built in 1934 which did not go beyond the prototype stage. Miraculously found in 2005, it was restored by the manufacturer to run again in 2008. This groundbreaking motorcycle combined Art Deco style, innovative technology and a fairing reminiscent of record-breaking motorcycles ridden by Ernst Henne. Its stamped sheet-metal frame had a 790 cc overhead twin-valve engine and it reached 150 km/h, speed which was only achievable by a very few highly sporty models.

Presented at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in 2012 where it claimed first place in its category, it quickly inspired American tuner Alex Nimitz (NMoto) based in Florida, who set out to make a replica. Based on a BMW R Nine-T, the workshop began handcrafting the aluminium parts to get as closed as possible to the original shape. Attention to details is staggering with the fishtail exhausts, perforated footboards, tapered mudguards, the ignition key in the headlight and not to forget the centrepiece of course: the hand-hammered chrome tank cover.

In France, the modification kit was distributed by the Boulogne-sur-Seine CO2 Moto dealership. Ordered in March 2022, this motorcycle was however fully assembled and finished by the same CO2 Moto and delivered to its owner in December 2023, according to options chosen. Unique in Europe, it has a matte blue colour and a two-up seats, it also bears the number 1 of the Nostalgia series. In new condition, it includes two Beon L and XL helmets which match the motorcycle’s colour. While being usable as a modern motorcycle, this is the opportunity to treat yourself to a unique machine which has the look of one of most extraordinary models in the Bavarian brand’s history.

Please note that the motorcycle is sold without a technical inspection.
