According to the historian Marcel Massini, this 208 GT4 was completed on the 21st October 1975.It was Motor S.a.s di Carla Allegretti e C., the Ferrari agent in Rome, who was responsible for selling it new to the company Agritecno S.r.l also based in Rome. Still included alongside the user manual and the spare parts folder, the servicing logbook confirms that the car was delivered on the 22nd of March 1976. With its “Nocciola 106-M-27” (Metallic Hazelnut) colour and the interior in beige faux leather and brown fabrics, it was purchased by the current owner’s father in 1980 from a dentist based in the Chateauroux region.
He actually wanted to spare his Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 by purchasing a more modern car. An oil change card indicates a mileage of 33,275 km in 1989, then 42,800 km in 2008 and finally the distribution redone in 2014 at 43,000 km. It now has a mileage of 43,158 km, while the car has been stationary for around 10 years. The car was previously repainted in its original colour and it is complete with its original jack in its pouch. The interior is well preserved and the front seats appear to have been redone. The car will need to be completely restored before getting back on the road; this is therefore a desirable project!
